Ready to power your home?
Solar battery systems typically range from $8,000 to $20,000 fully installed, depending on battery capacity, inverter type, and site complexity. The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program applies automatically, providing a tiered rebate worth approximately $2,430 for a 10 kWh battery and up to $6,238 for systems at the maximum eligible capacity. We provide detailed, itemised quotes upfront and identify every rebate you're eligible for.
In most cases, yes. Adding a battery to an existing solar system is one of the most effective ways to maximise your solar energy self-consumption. We assess your existing inverter, panels, and switchboard to determine the best integration approach, whether AC-coupling or DC-coupling, and advise on any upgrades needed during your free consultation at no charge.
Most residential battery installations are completed in a single day. Larger or more complex systems, such as those requiring switchboard upgrades, may take two days. We'll give you a precise timeline in your proposal so you can plan accordingly.
The batteries in our range carry manufacturer warranties of 10 to 15 years, covering performance and capacity. HelioFlo also backs every installation with a 5-year workmanship warranty, so you're covered from every angle and you'll always have someone to call — long after installation day.
Yes. The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program provides a tiered rebate: $243/kWh on the first 14 kWh of usable capacity, $146/kWh from 15 to 28 kWh, and $36/kWh from 29 to 50 kWh. In practical terms: a 10 kWh battery attracts around $2,430; a 20 kWh system around $4,278; a 30 kWh system around $5,518; and systems at the maximum 50 kWh capacity receive approximately $6,238. NSW homeowners can also stack the VPP incentive on top, worth up to approximately $1,100. As feed-in tariffs continue to fall, storing your solar energy rather than exporting it makes more financial sense than ever. We identify every applicable incentive and include all savings in your proposal automatically.
Battery sizing should match your home's nighttime energy consumption. For most Australian homes, a solar battery in the 10–16 kWh range covers overnight usage comfortably while leaving a reserve for blackout protection. If you're on a time-of-use tariff or want to trade energy back to the grid, a larger system of 16–20 kWh may deliver better returns. We size every solar battery system to your specific usage profile during your free consultation.
